I just signed up for this website, simply out of curiosity. I was wondering if there’s a way to talk to poets about their poems or get/give conductive criticism? It seems like you put your poems out there in cyber space and you never really get anything back.

Anyway, I’m still exploring this site. Off to read more poems!

Can you enter a new poem every day?

Hi Valerie,
You can enter as many poems as you like.

Thanks,
Annie

Hi Lindy,
Welcome to Lulu Poetry! The site just launched in April, and we are still in the early stages of development. Soon, we hope to offer new features that will help you connect with other poets and get feedback on your work. I hope you enjoy the site!

Thank you,
Annie

I submitted my poem about 6 weeks a go… When I log in, it says it is being considered for an anthology, and will be released for edit etc. in 1 week. It has said this for 6 weeks now approx. I want to see what rating I may get on your site. Please advise.

Also, I was wondering if you could explain each category that comes up after rating a poem? It is a little confusing what each statistic means.

Hi Steve,
I am very sorry to hear that you are having so much trouble! Lulu Poetry does not produce anthologies, and so it sounds like a database error that is related to a product that the previous owners produced. The good news is that our site improvements later this summer will eliminate all these database quirks, and you should not run into the problem again. In the mean time, please contact our support team at help@poetry.com for assistance with your individual poem.

Thank you,
Annie

I enjoy the site. I too have gotten the message about my poems being considered for anthologies on ALL my poems (4). I would think you might want to change the outgoing message about the anthologies as it’s misleading. Your system has disallowed me to make minor edits for over 8 weeks. Plus, for some reason it wouldn’t allow me to link more than one poem to my name–so now my name shows ups several time in the list of authors (instead of once with 4 poems.) How can I fix these issues?
