Where on this site can we view poem in this months contest? Thanks Norma

Hi Norma,
All of the poems on the site are entered into the contest. You can view them by searching for a specific poet, browsing through the site, or by clicking the “view real-time contest entries” button on the submission form.

Thank you,
Annie

Annie – please have someone from Lulu Poetry contact me IMMEDIATELY about a privacy breach. You are printing poems publicly using my name WITHOUT my permission. I have submitted 5 email requests for removal of the poems and have received no response.

Thank you.

how can I contact a poet?

Posted by emma on 13 August 2009 @ 2pm

Hi Emma,
Right now, Lulu Poetry does not offer a way for you to contact another poet directly. That is a feature that a lot of poets have asked for though, and we are planning to build tools to help you send messages to poets in later months.
Thank you,
Annie

Dear Annie,
I hope you will help me. I am a Kenyan poet. I sent a cheque of US$10 on 15th Dec 2005 and another one of US$64.95 on 20th June 2006, a total of US$74.95, to International library of Poetry. The money was for a purchase of a poetry anthology.I have never received that anthology todate. My effort to reach a mister Steve Michaels have been in vain. Who can help me recover my money. I have photocopies of the cheques sent. Please help. Christopher Okemwa, Kenya:[contact info removed by moderator]

Hi Christopher,
I’m sorry to hear that you have not received your book. Lulu Poetry is not affiliated in anyway with the former owners of http://www.poetry.com, Watermark Media, who also operated as the International Library of Poetry and International Society of Poets. I believe the International Library of Poetry has gone out of business.

Thank you,
Annie

Why is it not possible for a winner of the daily lulu contest not to receive the prize attached to the contest without becoming a member of the paypal system?I have fears about the security of such systems.I was lucky enough to win the contest on 31 July 2009

Denis,
Congratulations on winning the Daily contest in July! Currently, Lulu Poetry only makes prize payments through Paypal for a number of accounting reasons. I apologize if this is an inconvenience to you.
Thank you,
Annie
