August Site Update and New Features

As summer draws to a close, we have a new beginning at Lulu Poetry. The new site is live and waiting for you to explore. I’m sure you have noticed the new design, but we have launched new features for you too!

1. Improved user registration: Registration is now based on email and password, so it is easier for you to log in and submit poems.
2. Editing and removal of poems: Poets can now edit and remove their own poems, after logging in.
3. Poet Profiles: Now every registered poet has a profile page where you can post your biography, and it shows a list of your poems, number of contests won, and the number of poems you have rated.
4. Improved search: Instead of just searching by a poet’s name, you can now find poems by title, author name, keywords, and tags.
5. Leaderboard Coming Soon: Visit our Leaderboard to see the current highest rated poems in the Daily, Monthly and Annual contests. Very soon, the Leaderboard will be running and it will update every day.

If you had registered at Lulu Poetry (or the old Poetry.com) before, you will need to update your registration information to log in to the site. First, go to the Claim Your Profile page. Then just enter the email address that you used to register, and click the Claim button. Instructions will be emailed to you, so that you can set a new password and access your poems.

If you do not have an email address associated with your old account, please email help@poetry.com with your full name and a link to your poems. Our support team can then help you set up a new registration.

More new features are in the works, and you should see additional improvements in the coming months. Please leave a comment if there is something else you would like to see on Lulu Poetry- we are always happy to consider your suggestions.

Thank you for helping us to build a great community!
Annie

My poetry was on the old poetry.com website. I am unable to view my poems on this new site. Did Lulu take over poetry.com

Posted by Carolyn Bryant Moore on 28 August 2009 @ 4pm

Poetry.com has made a mess of my poetry site. I cannot get into my poetry to add poems. What has happened. The old poetry site was better. Since I have considerable poetry on the site I wonder what happened! I enjoyed to OLD SITE. Please explain to me what happened???

A discouraged and frustrated POET!!!

Posted by EUGENE DEMESNE on 28 August 2009 @ 6pm

Ann:

I’m glad you added features, but I still can’t access my poems. What’s wrong? I’ve entered my email address and it gives me this message: Either the user does not match our records or insufficient information was provided. It worked before you added features (though my poems were not accessible/editable/reviewable by anyone because of system errors). Please get this resolved as my poems have been on the site for months but haven’t been eligible for any contests (and no one wrote me back after you suggested I write to Lulu).

Site is worse than ever for finding stuff, had around 20 poems on the site now shows 3, tried finding by title that was worse yet, can’t find anything by typing in an author at all, like said when I login only shows 3 poems now; what happened to all the rest?

Posted by dee gallino/dee j gallino on 29 August 2009 @ 12am

The new site looks good, however, gaining access to my works is prehistoric in perplexity. Where are all of my works, those transferred from poetry.com? Or, Am I just the most stupid being on the planet?

Posted by michael darrell walker on 29 August 2009 @ 12am

I give up. I have tried to access poems available in your previous system by author, title, first line, etc. Nothing works. Either 0 results appear or more than a thousand irrelevant items are “found”.

How do I find poems by an author like I did until a few days ago? In particular, I am looking for the poems by Marie Merenhole, whom your system apparently no longer knows.

Posted by Robert Laurence Baber on 29 August 2009 @ 3am

According to your announcement, “The new site is live and waiting for you to explore.” With so many errors in the new system, it is not possible for me to meaningfully “explore” it.

Among other things, the conventions used by your search function need explanation. How are several words handled, “anded” or “ored”? How should one enter strings of words (e.g. a complete title) to be searched as a single entity? Etc.

Posted by Robert Laurence Baber on 29 August 2009 @ 3am

I posted 3 poems before the update and although they were all in my name they were all seperate from one another I would like to get those three poems on my profile…do you know a way I can do so?

Posted by Graham Geiger on 29 August 2009 @ 4pm

Hi Michael,
The best way to access your works is to log in to the site and then click the “Account” link at the top right of the page. This will take you your profile page and a list of your poems. Your profile page is here. In order to log in, you will have to visit the Claim Your Profile page to update your account.

I did notice one issue though, and thank you for bringing it to my attention. You have 368 poems on Lulu Poetry (Wow, good job!) and they are all still available on the site. However, the first page of your profile only lists 15 poems and the link to scroll to following pages to see more poems seems to be broken. I am sorry for this inconvenience, and I have asked our team to fix the issue as soon as we can.

Thank you,
Annie

Hi Graham,
Our support team would be happy to help you consolidate your poems under one account. Please email help@poetry.com with a link to the profile you want your poems listed under, and they can help.
Thank you,
Annie

Hi Caorlyn,
Your poems are still available on Lulu Poetry. Please visit your Profile Page to view them. Since we updated registration, please visit the Claim Your Profile page to update your account and access your poems.

Lulu purchased the domain http://www.poetry.com earlier in the year, and launched Lulu Poetry in April. I hope you will enjoy the new site.
Thank you,
Annie

Hi Eugene,
I’m sorry to hear you are frustrated. The old login/registration system had a lot of problems. For example, poets from a number of countries couldn’t submit poems at all, and many users had trouble using the system and ended up creating multiple accounts. The new system is email and password based, so it should be much easier for new poets to register.

Since we changed the registration process, we are asking all poets to update their account. Please visit the Claim Your Profile page and enter the email address associated with your account. Instructions will be emailed to you so that you can change your password, and then you will be able to access all your poems again.

Thank you,
Annie

Posted by Annie on 30 August 2009 @ 10am

Bill,
Did you update your account at the Claim Your Profile page? You will need to do that, before you can log in. If you are getting this error message on the Claim Your Profile page, then I am very sorry and will ask a member of our support team to contact you directly.

The good news is that the ratings bug has been fixed, and your poems should be available for rating now.

Thank you,
Annie

Annie,
I only have one of my poems listed in my account. I used to be able to search the author name Agueda and see every poem I wrote. I have around 15 or so. It would be nice to have them in my account. Can you help. i have spent a few hours so far and not been able to find them. Please help me locate them so i dont have to dig up the copies and write them all over again.

The new website looked promising but it’s as messy as the old one. My poems disappeared I can’t claim my profile because apparently it doesn’t exist! I registered, submitted a poem only to find out that it is
impossible to find that poem; searching by title gives thousands of results and searching by my name doesn’t work.
If my friends want to see it I have to send them emails and if they want to rate it they have to register. All of it doesn’t make any sense to me. Another thing - http://www.poetry.com/privacy.html - this page doesn’t exist. I think I’ll give up but don’t have a clue how to delete my profile. Maybe I’m just not clever enough…
I know it is a huge job to improve the website (especially as big as this one) but we’ve been waiting for so long and what is the result??
Thanks.

You’ve made a mess of it this time - like many others who have contacted you, I cannot access my index of poems. On the profile page its lists about a dozen of them, but I have about 400 listed on my index. Please fix this problem and advise all when you do. Keep it simple, PLEASE!!!!

Hi Robert,
It looks like you have encountered the same issue as Michael. Your profile only lists 15 poems per page. You can see the first page of your index, but the link to scroll to following pages to see more poems is currently broken. I am sorry for this inconvenience, and I have asked our team to fix the bug as soon as we can.

Dee, Robert, Stephen, David, Shawnte, Katarzyna, and Prewitt
I’m sorry that you are having trouble searching for your work. With over 14 million poems on Lulu Poetry, our search obviously gives you wide range of results. We do want readers to be able to find lots of poems on Lulu Poetry, but of course we want it to be simple to find specific poems too. This is just the first step in our new search, and we will be refining and improving it over the coming weeks.

In the mean time, here is a (admittedly cumbersome) work around for searching for a specific name. In the search box, enter
full_name:”firstname lastname”
For example, to find David’s poems I wrote in the search box
full_name:”david zachary agueda”
Then hit enter. This gives a list of 18 poems for David.

I hope that this trick will help you, while we are working to refine search.

Thank you,
Annie

What happened to the drop menu that used to come off of “free contests”. You used to be able to scroll over it to get to “rate poems” but now that’s gone. I don’t want to rate only top rated poems and searching poems takes the randomness away. How do I get to the “rate poems” I used all the time?

thanx, maybe a few days before the change was made to the site i wrote another poem called angel & devil under my new email how can i find that and put that with the older poems

Posted by shawnte bray on 1 September 2009 @ 9am

I do not know whether or not your answer to “Dee, Robert, Stephen, David, Shawnte, Katarzyna, and Prewitt” purports to answer my question, but in any case your suggestion does not work. For example, I entered “marie merenhole” and the result was “0 results for ‘”marie merenhole”‘”. Presumably other poets are also “lost” in your new system.

How can I find the poems by Marie Merenhole?

Posted by Robert Laurence Baber on 1 September 2009 @ 2pm

Robert,
I was hoping that the search suggestion would help you too, and I’m sorry to hear that it did not. You actually have to enter the “full_name:” part into the search box as well. When I searched for full_name:”Marie Merenhole” it returned 18 results from the same account, under the name “anonymous”. I believe these are Ms. Merenhole’s poems.

Unfortunately, it looks like we have encountered another issue. Poems by users named “anonymous” are producing an error in the system, and cannot be read. I’ve done a quick check, and it looks like all poems by anonymous users are affected, not just the ones in this account. I have let the development team know about the issue, and we will try to get the bug resolved as soon as possible. I am very sorry for the inconvenience to you and the other users that are experiencing this problem.

Thank you,
Annie

I think that it is terrible the way this site is all messed up! I have a series of poems on poetry.com and I cannot find not one of them! This is so disappointing! I am going out of my way trying to find my poetry! Please leave a dependable way for us to find our hard earned and hard worked poetry! This is truly rediculous!

Ive had a current liver transplant and I cannot remember all of that! Please let me know what is my net set! It should not be so confusing!

Dear Annie,

Thanks for your information, which underscores the need for complete instructions on using the search function, e.g. that one must enter the prefix full_name:, etc. What other prefixes can be used?

Your new system has additional problems. Marie Merenhole was not anonymous in the previous system; why has the new system relegated her to “anonymous” status? Also different is the fact that some of her poems were “archived” and not accessible in the old system but the beginnings are now shown in the results of the search.

Readers and poets are still waiting for the ability to send and receive qualitative feedback.

I applaud the new and improved site…to date.
I am in the process of rehabing the work transferred from poetry.com and I am finding several variables which add to the perplexity of my efforts.
Entering and searching my name no longer takes me to my works…
My more current works as submitted to LuLu poetry are exposing a flaw in your system. I cannot edit these works!
I am committed to learning your site and utilizing it’s tools to perhaps publish some of the prose and poems I have written to date.
Your help with these nuances and difficulties will be most appreciated.

Hi Annie,

Say your reply from my first comment and it helps me to understand how the site functions. Thank you for your assistance and your efforts.

Posted by michael darrell walker on 2 September 2009 @ 9pm

Hi Annie,

Its Michael again,

After several days of reediting my posts I’ve discovered a pattern in the errors of the system.

The following works I cannot edit:
1) Beneath the Spirit of Service
2) Eirenicon
3) Idolatry’s Mirror
4) Luftminschen Continum
5) Surrealistic Bagging

I am 50% complete on reediting and sorting through my transferred works. At this pace I will not be able to access the complete file because all 15 alloted slots on the edit page will be occupied by works I cannot edit.
The submission task for these items produces an error message which is not identified, therefore it must be systematic and caused by ‘editors choice’ or am I dealing with a system which does not identify and acknowledge higher english? Annie, I really do prefer to utilize words comprised of more than three letters so please tell me your editoral staff has the capacity for more complex words! I really am attempting to practice good humor here…thanks for your listening ear and hopefully your ability to have this error fixed.

I have fifteen poems on my list. I created over 40 poems that are not there. I go by Francois Vainqueur, Jean Francois Vainqueur. I am missing Vanish before your eyes 1,2,3, Firefighters and Cops, Day of Terror and many more. When I was on Poetry.com, I had over 40 poems. Please find my poems, and add to your new website.

wow, you poets are really impatient aren’t you. This is a brand new site and from what I’ve seen things look great. I can only imagine how many poems must be on poetry.com so it will take some time I imagine to get them all moved over appropriately.

Hi Michael,
We are certainly in favor of higher English and educated posts! :) The bug related to only showing 15 poems on your profile page is being worked on and we hope to have a fix soon. In the mean time, you should be able to access and edit all of your poems by clicking the title on the search results page, provided that you are logged in.

A system error when editing poems is a new bug that I have not seen before, and have not been able to reproduce today. Thank you for letting me know about it, and we will do more investigation into the problem.

Thank you,

No copyright notice appears on any of the poems I have recently seen. Is that an intentional change from the previous system?

Also, I would still like to know why some poems are now attributed to “anonymous”. Will that be corrected by your system developers or must the individual poets do something? If the latter, when will they be notified what to do?

Where (and when) will a complete set of instructions for using the search function be available?

Hello, sorry to bother amidst all this confusion, but I can’t seem to access a great portion of the website, namely “Advanced Poetic Techniques” and other pages under the “Poetic Technique” menu. These had helped me greatly with my poetry, as I am a student, and still have a lot to learn, and I just wanted to know if this problem is universal (and is a website error), or if I’m doing something wrong?

Many thanks in advance,

Hi Annie,

I, like everyone else asking questions here, was a member of the older poetry.com and can no longer locate my poems on your newer website. I’ve tried searching for them to no avail. In addition to trying to “Claim Your Profile” them but apparently my email is no longer in your database as I’ve cycled through all of my used email accounts and none of them are registered to this site.

My poems are “Thoughts”, “The Recipe for Happiness”, “Different While Alike”, “So High in the Sky”, “Those Who Live Above”, “Laughter”

I’d greatly appreciate it if you could find these poems’ new website address and inform me to what email they are registered to. Thanks!

Annie: Are you making any progress re simplifying your system? Folks are still unable to access their poem index and are unable to accomplish anything else the way you have things set up now. I can’t even pull up my profile now! The only thing I find useful on your site is the “help in rhyming” section - for heavens sake, don’t screw that up! I don’t mean to be rude, but it sounds like you have very inept computer people on your staff!

Ive been here in Michigan for since 2003. I may have been on Web tv at that time in Tahoe, as [contact info removed by moderator] The street adress out there was Osborne, maybe. I was on Poetry.com since 2004 as [contact info removed by moderator]. or my current email. I hope this info will help you to help me!
Thanks, I hope I hear from you either way…I can see you’re just slammed with requests! I had only 4 or 5 poems, one published on a cd of theirs. One garden poem, a fall poem, a winter poem…thanks for your help!

Everyone who needs to find your poetry, pay attention!!!After working for days and now weeks to figure out the problems within this site and the transfer of work from poetry.com I have found this to be the logic path for finding your work if it was transfered by your request back in August of 2009. You must type in the following at the search mode location….( full_name: “your full name” ), do not include the parens. You may review my posts on this blog to confirm my requests to Annie and her response to my questions and observations. Good luck to each of you.

Good afternoon Annie, I realize that you are extremely busy and at times successful in the reorganizational aspects of the reworked site. Many of the kinks on my page have worked themselves out and thank you and your staff for their efforts, however, as of 14:30 hrs today I still cannot edit the following poems:

Beneath the Spirit of Service
This Poet’s Probe
Eriencon
Idiolatry’s Mirror
Womb’s Brow
Luftmenschen Continuum
Surrealistic Bagging

In addition these three minor works have been ascribed to my page and attributed to me as my work…hardly!!!

Please eliminate these titles from my page and send them to their rightful author:

Something to rest on
Crossroad
By Association

Your prompt attention to my request will be deeply appreciated. All My thanks

You have got to be kidding me Annie! Where is the logic in your posting system? I took the better part of a full day (24 hrs) and went through my pages copying and listing each poem, in numeric order, by page number, exactly as you have posted them. Along comes your websites first true error, you have posted someone elses work on my pages, and that work is arbitraryly slapped in on any page! How illogical! What is up with your web master? Any work attributed to an individual must be entered into the greater set of works in an order of some kind! Damn!!!!!! The logical assumption is all new posts must be placed on the most recently opened page, the highest numbered page and those works given order of submittal preference on that page. Please take the child off of the task of site coordinator and go out and rehire the staff member of the former website who managed the incoming works coordination. Sorry for this outburst but….whatever, I cannot take this any further just now. Please Annie get this site in order asap!

Hi Annie,

I have tried all the methods, and my poetry is still not there. I would love to have it back; however, I do know you are extremely busy unlike some. I will recant my previous post, it was one made in frustration and I know that it could not have been helpful. I’m sorry I became frustrated at you when you are trying to help everyone. I did not know if there were other ways to maybe find them. I’m really hoping to hear back on this, my email is shaggyjuniorf305@yahoo.com. Thank you for your continued help in trying to solve this mystery!

Hi Annie, I am back, a little more settled now that it is another day but a bit more unsettled now that I am finding more of my poems missing from your lists. The following items are missing from the items transfered from poetry.com:

Sum of Life
One’s Instant
Our Promise
Stones Throw

Please have your people locate these poems and contact my people when they are posted to my pages….HaHaHa, I try to find humor in all of this Annie, thanks for your help.

Annie, I may as well get this out of the way and onto your desk. Of the entries I submitted to lulupoetry.com from July of this year..none of them were shown to be on my account pages. As you know the format for lulu’s entries is simply first and last names, therefore those items are under Michael Walker. I know this because I just ran across this one (title: Wile’s Harvest. Of course I could not edit or transfer this missing piece to my pages. Here are a few more of my titles which are missing from my collection:

Steadfast
Reentry
Bottoms Up!
Sum of Life
Heligenschein
Anxiety’s Rhetoric
What at a Sunrise Ends
Suppositions Prose
Allowing Desire its Run
Present to your Inner Beast
Light of a Single Star

I am beginning a new inventory of all of the titles posted to my pages and trying to title search those that are missing, and I am using the full_name: Michael Walker search but that returns 20 thousand possibles and none of them are Michael Walker???

In the exhausing end of all of this I trust will be the fully developed and complete contents of those works transfered from Poetry.com. I hope for the best but wish this challenge was over already.

Thanks again for your help.

I am still having problems, I do not know how to combine my two accounts under one name. The site is improved you say, but it simply doesn’t work. I presume most of the poets would like to find them by names, not by the titles of their poems?

Annie, what does System error imply in the edit mode?
I apologize for the curtness of the question but as you know I have experienced a somewhat unsatisfactory experience with the lulu site to date. The exception of course has been you and your prompt responses…keep up the valiant work!

Posted by michael darrell walker on 28 September 2009 @ 3pm

Okay Annie, First, I would like to say hello and I hope your day is progressing along quite well. Second, I now cannot submit to your site…what gives???

Posted by michael darrell walker on 29 September 2009 @ 10am

Annie..
Thanks so much for finding my poems. I really did not expect to see them again. I waited a week to check back, only to see you’d found them right away.
Only 4 poems, but written what is now a lifetime away. This really means alot to me…

As I went into the new poetry site by Lulu, most of my poems are missing. I had over 100 poems on the old poetry.com site and now only a few are on Lulu. Where do I go to retrieve all of my other work? Perhaps Lulu has not finished their retrieval process? I understand this is a huge undertaking of transferring information from the old site into a new one, but I’d still like an answer as to what is going on with all of my work and the retrieval process. I’m sure there are many other poets having similar difficulties and want answers.

Thank you,

Where are my poems from poetry.com…..how dare they change the site….very unprofessional - there is a poem I wrote for my father when he died and I really want it back. Does anyone know if there is anything legally we can do?

Posted by Linda on 7 October 2009 @ 10am

Alright, this is frustrating… A couple weeks I logged on to find that I had to redo the registration process since this site was transferred to Lulu. Btw, you guys should seriously consider getting a new developer. Someone who knows something about design. This is absolutely horrible in every way. Navigation, searching, etc.

Anyways,

I was able to finally get to my poems. I decided to log on tonight and do another one, but saw that my other poems were no longer in my profile. I did a google search and they are not even showing up there anymore.

What do I need to do?

Posted by Eric Larrow on 8 October 2009 @ 2am

Lulu should remove the shimmering cursor spam from their home page. It’s very unprofessional.
I liked poetry.com better. They were simple, they didn’t need to glitter the pages. The poets provided that.

Posted by Di on 8 October 2009 @ 3pm

This suggestion does not work Annie. There is no where to find “claim your profile” on Lulu. I even tried to re-register and that did not work. There must be access to the old poetry.com site so that people can reclaim their work. I had over 100 poems in Poetry.com and now I have no way to access my poems by either Alison Tew / Alison Joan Tew which were the names I used in Poetry.com. This is an outrage! There are so many people whom have had posted their work with Poetry.com and now can not access their writings. Lulu does not support their customers! No phone number or email available from Lulu. I hope they get their act together soon. There are a lot of angry customers out here. Years of my work is missing and there are no words to describe the loss I feel right now. No one from Lulu has given me any answers or help thus far. I understand and appreciate the huge undertaking of moving one site to another involves, but there must be access provided to those of us whom had poems listed in the old poetry.com site. Please help me do this. I would greatly appreciate your help. My email is [contact info removed by moderator].

Dear Annie,
I did email help@poetry.com and I was finally contacted by Lulu representatives whom also gave me a case number and I’m grateful someone is being assigned to my case. Hopefully this will resolve the issues I have with retrieving my poems off the old poetry.com site. It’s been a pain staking experience trying to gather all my lifes work in there. So many artists are having the same issue and I’m sure can appreciate what I’m going through.
With warmest regards,
Alison

Hello,
I also had many poems added to Poetry.com over the years. I haven’t been able to check if they are on the new site yet, because for some reason it does not work for me. Maybe the site is down. But I do agree with many of you and it would be great if we can access the old site to recover our poems and re-post them on the new site if need be. If anyone gets a response on how to get onto the old site, please let me know.

Will we still be able to get greeting cards and plaques with our poetry on them on LuLu Poetry? Thank you.

Posted by Jackie Lynne Streetman Austin on 12 October 2009 @ 11am

My poems are not on the new site and I didn’t have any saved on my computer. The only access I had to my poems was on Poetry.com and now they’re gone!! 10 yrs of poems gone … :(

Posted by Sheila Plafcan on 12 October 2009 @ 3pm

Hi Jackie,
Lulu Poetry does not currently offer greeting cards or plaques, but that may be something we will consider in the future. In the mean time, have you considered publishing a book? Lulu.com offers some great printing options. You can Lulu Poetry’s Publishing Program there and get started on your book right away.

Thank you,
Annie

Hi Sheila,
I found 24 poems listed under Sheila Marie Plafcan.

Everyone,
All of your poems should still be available on Lulu Poetry. We have recently changed search so that readers can find poems based on name, title, topics, keywords, and tags. With over 14 million poems on Lulu Poetry, our search gives you wide range of results. This is just the first step in our new search, and we will be refining it over the coming weeks. Please check back soon to see our improvements in search.

The best way to locate your poems is to visit your profile page. After you log in, click the blue “Account” link at the top right of the page. This will take you to your profile and a list of your poems.

If checking your profile does not return all of your poetry, an easy work around is to copy and paste full_name: “your name” into the search field (be sure to replace your name with the full name you published poetry under and keep the quotation marks), which will pull up all of the poetry listed under the pen name of your poetry. This step will become unnecessary as Lulu Poetry continues to index content and refine the search.

If you were a member of http://www.poetry.com before our site update in August 2009, you will probably need to Claim Your Profile in order to log in.
Thank you,
Annie

Dear Annie,

Thank you so much!! I’m so happy to see my poems again. With your tips I’ve also managed to find all my other family members poems too. Now the only problem I have is registering. It wont let me claim my poems and it wont let me register either. Over the 10 years my e-mail has changed many times, so alot of my poems were under different e-mails, but always the same name. When I try to claim my poems with my current e-mail “SheilaCarpena@yahoo.com” , it says “Either the user does not match our records or insufficient information was provided.” Then when I try to register it says that the e-mail is already registered. But I’ve tried to log-in with all the passwords I’ve ever used and none work. I then clicked to have my password reset and it said that If that e-mail exists I will receive an e-mail with reset instructions. I haven’t gotten anything yet, I was wondering if you have anymore tips for me. Also is there anyway I can make 1 account and have ALL my poems attached to it, even though they were under many different e-mails originally?

Thank you,
Sheila Carpena

Hi Annie,
Here it is well into October of 2009 and I would have hoped all would be well wioth all of the items I wrote to you about during the change over period…however, nothing has changed…I can not edit those titles I wrote to you about…I cannot access the titles I submitted during the april 2009 to august 2009 period where your system only allowed a first and last name entry format…I have seen no further answers or replys to my questions since early september 2009…I truly wish to contribute and possibly utilize your company as I become closer to a publication mode, but…, too many gaffes and goofs and loose threads are in my way. Please respond to the edit errors on my pages and on my listed posts…If I cannot edit how can I publish?

Posted by michael darrell walker on 13 October 2009 @ 5pm

Hello once again Annie,
I have tried for the umpteenth time to submit and/or edit the works in question on my pages…enough already…what is a unrecoverable error???, and why can I not edit the poems you list and post on my pages within this website???, why is the pathway to my pages not through my logon page???, what truly gives with this effort to organize and better the site!!!!!!! Please respond…

Dear Nicholas,
There are 27 poems under Nicholas Anthony Villescaz. You have search just right for them to come up. It wont let me post with how, so please see Annie’s post just 4 above yours, to see what you have to put in the search bar.

Just so everyone knows, I’m not lulu staff. I just thought I’d help

Posted by Sheila Carpena on 17 October 2009 @ 1pm

Dear Cindy,
There are 9 poems under Cindy Flores. If they aren’t yours, try typing your middle name in the search bar with your name.
full_name: “Cindy Flores”
Good Luck,
Sheila

I have tried to claim my profile and it says that it can’t be found. I had poems under Cory Wade and Cory Daniel Wade on the old site.

Posted by Cory on 21 October 2009 @ 10pm

Believe it or not, I have read through every single comment and response posted and it sounds extremly loud and clear to me that the new design is cumbersome and requires your immediate attention. Specifically speaking, the ability to search by poet name. MAKE IT CLEARLY VISIBLE! I had 60 poems on the old site and was a registered user of the old site. I don’t see the purpose of having to register with the new site just for my friends and family or others can view poems I previously posted. Unless your intentions are merely for phishing???
