I have a question rather than a comment.
threw the old poetry.com I had over 38 poems listed
I now have only 15 could you tell me what happened to the other poems that I wrote?

The correction of the anonymous/system error problem is now a week overdue. What is the new expected date for fixing it?

I am trying to log onto lulu.com and it won’t accept my username and password. How do I get a new password. I have one pen name, which is “linda seaver”, and one email address, which is [contact info removed by moderator]. How do I get this resolved. Your help would be much appreciated. Thank you. My name is “linda jean seaver”.

This is going to sound odd but…. I did a google search on my daughter’s name, who past away last year in a car accident, and the first site that came up was Poetry.com with what looks like a poem she might have written called ‘What if’. I did a search on the site to no avail. Is there a way to retrieve that particular poem? I know she did a lot of writing…. I copied and pasted the results from the search below. Any help would be so very much appreciated! Janet

Using your website is like grabbing a piece of jello. There’s nothing to hang onto. It is defininitely NOT user friendly. It’s not apparent how to rate poems. Is it only the ones judges decide are poems of the day?

Before, you could look up a poet by name and read all their poems. How do you do that? When you search by name the search results are generic. And placing a tag is ridiculous. You still can’t get back to a specific poem you may have seen before, just others with that tag. And what about poems submitted prior to any current contest period? What use is there in keeping them on file?

I think it would be good if writers could talk back and forth, or at least add comments to other poems. Right now, the amount of time required, to then not find what you are looking for, is bound to put people off.

I tried looking all through your site to make sure I’m not overlooking something. But, one should not have to do that. Your site is ablsolutely useless. And if you can’t easily figure out how to use it, what incentive is there?

I’m about ready to pull the plug.

Hi Everyone,
All of your poems should still be available on Lulu Poetry. We have recently changed search so that readers can find poems based on name, title, topics, keywords, and tags. With over 14 million poems on Lulu Poetry, our search gives you wide range of results. It can be difficult to find a specific poet, but we are working on it! This is just the first step in our new search, and we will be refining it over the coming weeks.

The best way to locate your poems is to visit your profile page. After you log in, click the blue “Account” link at the top right of the page. This will take you to your profile and a list of your poems.

If you were a member of http://www.poetry.com before our site update in August 2009, you will probably need to Claim Your Profile in order to log in.

I am sorry for the inconvenience, but you should see some improvement in search soon.
Thank you,
Annie

Hi Robert B.
It is taking longer than we anticipated to fix the anonymous user/system error issue, and I apologize for the delay. We hope to have the issue resolved later next week.
Thank you,
Annie

Annie,

I just discovered your post from October 1, 2009. I can’t thank you enough! When did she submit her poem? Are there any more? I knew she was hurting. It’s a very long story… short version, she’d moved back home with her little boy and we were looking into getting her help when she was in a car accident that took her life. She was the daughter of an alcoholc and an abused wife… lots of hurt and she wrote a lot about her pain. As her mom, I ache so that she was in such pain. She was stunningly beautiful inside and out….
