I am curious. What happened to being able to look up a writers name. And read their works? I can’t find it any where.

I too have lost all of my old poetry! Why have they all not been saved? I entrusted this website with my poetry and it is lost. It would have been nice to be notified of such a plan to buy out poetry.com. So how do I obtain my old poetry? Most of which has been lost?

What is the problem with the site? I keep trying to get my old poetry from the original Poetry.com and it will not let me claim my old profile. As I try to enter the contest after adding a NEW profile with my original poetry and it will not let me add!!

Thanks to everyone that made it possible, it’s a dream come through. Once again I’m so grateful. I have posted more of my works and will be looking forward to winning more contests. Lastly, my voters, ah!! you are good. Thanks to Allah.

Hi Laura,
I’m very sorry to hear that you are having trouble claiming your profile. Please contact our support team at help@poetry.com for assistance with your account. Please be sure to include the full name that you published poems under and the email address you used to register previously.
Thank you,
Annie

Sir Leon, Chris, and David,
All of your poems should still be available on Lulu Poetry. The best way to locate your poems is to visit your profile page. After you log in, click the blue “Account” link at the top right of the page. This will take you to your profile and a list of your poems. If you were a member of http://www.poetry.com before our site update in August 2009, you will probably need to Claim Your Profile in order to log in.

If checking your profile does not return all of your poetry, an easy work around is to copy and paste full_name: “your name” into the search field (be sure to replace your name with the full name you published poetry under and keep the quotation marks), which will pull up all of the poetry listed under the pen name of your poetry.

We are still working to improve the search on Lulu Poetry. It should become easier to search for specific poets as we continue to tweak things.

Thank you,
Annie
