Hey all,

Does anyone know if there’s a way to make separate stanzas in poems submitted on this website? I think all of my submission problems stem from trying to have separate stanzas.

Thanks,
Jacob

I finally have some of my poems from a month ago rated with more than one rating. How come they are not showing up on the leaders page? I see other poems showing up with only 1 rating.

Hi Jacob,
You can enter make separate stanzas for your poem just by hitting the enter/return key and creating line breaks. I just tested it in Firefox and Safari and was able to submit a new poem with multiple stanzas.
Thank you,
Annie

Hi Holly,
Lulu Poetry does not have a place to store your home address information.

If you would like to update any of your other account information (email, paypal bio, password, etc), you can do so by:
1. log in
2. click the blue “account” link at the top right of the page
3. click the orange “edit” button
4. change your information
5. click the orange “save” button

Thank you,
Annie

Hi rmilewsk,
I’m glad to hear that your poems are getting rated. The Daily leaderboard updates every day and shows the top rated poems from the day before (so on Tuesday you will see poems that were rated on Monday). It will only show on the board the day after your poem has been rated, and only the top percentage of poems are shown on the leaderboard since we have hundreds of poems submitted and rated every day. Poems that show on the leaderboard more than one day in a row have been rated more than one day in a row as well.

Thank you,
Annie

Hey Annie,

I finally discovered the source of all of my problems with submitting poems. I had been writing poems and copy->pasting them into the text box, rather than typing them directly. This is something you guys might want to either look into fixing or advertise, but thanks for all of the help and support.

You can cry underwater your tears are merely hidden.

I’ve copied / pasted many times from notepad without any problems. It’s probably the program you are using that is causing the issues.

Hey! This is a really cool site, and very inspirational! I even entered the poetry contest!

I was hoping you would take a look at my site: http://www.a-poem-a-day.co.nr/

The idea is that I post a poem everyday, and I would really appreciate any feed back, comments, thoughts, criticism, etc you have on my poetry! I’m not that great, but I’m hoping to improve.. And with your help, I can!
